The gravestone is undoubtedly hers because of the other people on it i.e. husband Samuel Staple born 17 June 1842 Stoke under Ham, Somerset, England and son Maurice Longland Staple born 8 December 1880 Seaton, Devon, England. They emigrated in 1904. The precise dates given are from a family bible that has. so far, proved reliable.
